Sonja Henie

In 1937 Sonja Henie takes her whole family - mother, brother, sister in law and nephews - and moves to Hollywood. She has already won 11 world championships and three olympics in figure skating, but she wants more. Now Sonja has realized that the life of a movie star is the most glamorous, and all the world’s eyes are fixed upon her. With the same confidence and will as on the ice, Sonja conquers the movie industry. Her first film “One in a Million”, becomes the most seen movie in the world that year. She’s on the cover of Time Magazine, and is one of the best paid actors in Hollywood. Always with her family around her, never alone, and with a big appatite for money, men, parties and alcohol.
