Norwegian director Anne Sewitsky’s new feature Homesick (De nærmeste), was released in Norway on the 27th of March, 2015.
It tells the story of Charlotte and Henrik, two separated half siblings that meet each other for the first time as adults. It becomes an encounter without boundaries, between two people who do not know what a normal family is. Homesick is an unusual family drama about seeking a family, and breaking every rule to be one. How does sibling love manifest itself if you have never experienced it before?
The film is produced by Aashild Ariane Ramborg at Maipo Film AS.
